Services for Children and Teens

Joan has been in private practice
since 1994. She counsels individuals, children, families, and
couples. Her specialties are in Anxiety and Depression, Trauma
Recovery, Trichotillomania and OCD (obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
She is also a specialist in couples counseling working with both the
individual and the couple.
Joan's home
office is in the McMurray area, south of Pittsburgh PA. She also
offers
Distance Consulting through phone and Skype.

Appointments
I have a 24 hour answering
service which takes my calls when I am with a client or out
of the office.

724-942-5477 if you wish to schedule an appointment or
change an existing appointment.
Children are very
special clients. I request meeting with parents first to
discuss your child's needs before bringing the child or teen
to counseling.
If parents are separated or divorced please contact me. Both
parents must sign the Consent to Treatment form as required
by Pennsylvania law for behavioral counseling.

Hi Joan,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for all of your
help with my daughter. Last week was the one year anniversary of
_______'s passing and my daughter while sad, was okay with the
anniversary. She even said, "I think Dr. Kaylor fixed me too
well.....I don't even feel like I want to cry".
I told her that's exactly where
she should be!
